Saint-Gildard
  All that remains of this ancient Abbey is a tympanum carved during the French Revolution. It can still be seen today.


Vestige of the ancient Abbey
Owes its name to a famous priest from the Nivernais who lived in the seventh century. He was buried in an Abbey built on this
hilltop. Today it is a centre for pilgrims.

In 1850, the Mother House of the Sisters of Charity of Nevers was built on these ruins.
  Saint Gildard is also an international centre of :
